So if anyone's been wondering where I've been the past months or even years, the answer would be TVTropes.com, where I've made my new nest. It's a fun place for anyone who likes to think lots about all sorts of media?
So, there's this new project going on in the forums there: TV Tropes The TV Show. A TV show with members of the forums as characters (well, or at least characters based on them). It's coming along pretty well, I think. Although only a handful of people have any idea what's actually happening in the plot so far. Fun fun.
So, the guy on the left is a lovable fellow called JethroQWalrustitty. He's a passionate liberal with a heart ON FIRE, he has two badass guns that he stole from Black Lagoon, might be a tiny little bit(?) on the bisexual side, and makes a killer coffee. The one on the right is, well, me. Semi-furry and heavily idealized. (Taller, longer, fuller and fluffier hair, and more tanned skin to go with the hair.) Fawriel has powers that are something of a mix between Hinata/Neji and Mugen from Samurai Champloo, meaning he'll dance around the battlefield and pump people full of chakra before they know what hit them. Wheeee. He can also transform into a certain creature starting at a later point in the plot, but the details are a secret for now...
As for the picture itself: I was SO proud of this at the beginning because it finally felt like I had finally started getting the hang of drawing characters not as sticks and lumps, but as bodies in motion. Unfortunately, as you can quite obviously see, I still suck at inking, shading, coloring, and drawing clothes. I've been sitting here trying to find a suitable background FOR HOURS now so in the end I just gave up and went with what you can see here.
ZOMG! You're a troper too? I *thought* I recognized some of those Troper Tales!
This just makes things more awesome. I tried to contribute to the first massive tropefest (The one with the really long title that came in episodes, it was awesome too.) but chickened out.

It was Clice, but I abandoned it early on,I just didn't use it, and preferred This Troper. I dunno if it's still there (Actually I don't know what they do with inactive accounts.) What's yours? (Not that I know how to look it up, but yeah.)
My reccent viewing spree has been going on for three weeks solid (4-5 hours per night, I freeze the session when I go to bed.)

Aaah, but I am short, and the grass there is long; even if I jumped up and down yelling at the top of my voice, I would not be seen. Status Quo is God.
