Description
This is a poster design I tried to sell at the Leipzig Book Convention, showing the new Trope-tan and some advertisement for the wiki.
Trope-tan is a kinda popular character, the mascot of TVTropes.org that I designed many years ago. But when the site started actually selling things with her image on it, even an amateur like me feels that something less embarrassingly bad needs to be made.
That is, the old picture is pretty lousy. But the design as well was pretty haphazardly put together. The belt makes her hard to draw and is just a random assortment of things, the clothes are just the way they are because that's the kind of clothes I always drew... ... few people seemed to realize that the bare midriff was just due to the hoody being blown up rather than being part of the hoody's design...
So now Trope-tan has grown up and gained some major equipment upgrades AND a new partner!
Trope-tan is on a quest to collect all tropes! When she finds one after many arduous battles, it is stored in one of her many pockets, which lead to an actual pocket dimension within her possibly alive overalls. And inside of that pocket dimension lives Subtrope-tan! She's sort of an aspect of Trope-tan, both a part of her and a separate being. She can reduce her size at all and has amazing dexterity. Along with her rollerskates, this allows her to navigate Trope-tan's pocket dimension and Trope-tan herself, in order to be the archivist and treasurer of all the collected Tropes. She likes to shrink down a little and proudly sit on her larger self's head.
This design was kind of a community effort, so thanks to all you guys for the ideas and support.

Trope-tan and Subtrope-tan are both owned by me. Of course, permission to make money with her image is granted to the owners of TVTropes.org.
(What's with me and claiming my intellectual property lately? Let's just say something not particularly interesting happened that raised my awareness of copyright business.)
